Funerals at Old St. Paul’s Church

Funerals provide the sacred time and space for family and friends to mourn the loss of a loved one, to celebrate their life on earth, and to pray that the person will be entrusted into God’s further care. At Old St. Paul’s, the clergy are available to conduct funerals and memorial services using the service laid out in The Book of Common Prayer, 1979.

If you are interested in arranging for a funeral or memorial service to be held in the Church, please contact the Rector, The Rev. Mark Stanley at mark@stpaulsbaltimore.org, or call him at the Church office at 410-685-3404. A priest will call you to set up a time to meet in person and begin making plans for the service.

Grant, O Lord, to all who are bereaved the spirit of faith and courage, that they may have strength to meet the days to come with steadfastness and patience; not sorrowing as those without hope, but in thankful remembrance of your great goodness, and in the joyful expectation of eternal life with those they love. All this we ask in the Name of Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen
