This fall, as we celebrate our stewardship season, we’re lifting up a truth we all know in our hearts: it feels good to give! Think about it: every time we share a conversation over coffee after church, hear the choir sing, or watch our children grow in faith, we’re experiencing the fruits of gifts given joyfully. Giving isn’t just something we have to do; it’s something we want to do. And doesn’t it feel good to be part of something bigger than ourselves?

When you make a pledge, you’re not just filling out a form—you’re fueling the ministries of our church. You are participating, in a direct and very meaningful way, in our liturgy and worship; in the music and art that touches the hearts of our congregants and our guests; in our family and children’s ministries; in our community outreach; and in emerging opportunities as we discern how better to connect with our neighbors and friends in downtown Baltimore.

So, this stewardship season, lean into the joy! Let your pledge be a reflection of the gratitude you carry and the goodness you’ve received. And know that your gift makes a difference.  Because here’s the good news: it feels good to give—and it feels even better when we do it together!
