Outreach Events
There are many ways to get involved and help the community with fellow parishionners here at Old St. Paul’s. Check out the many outreach activities planned for this Fall.
A New Outreach Ministry
ERICA: The Episcopal Refugee and Immigrant Center Alliance
After several community forums and much discernment, the Outreach Committee of St. Paul’s Church has decided to begin a partnership with ERICA (https://erica-baltimore.org/.) Their website states that:
“The Episcopal Refugee and Immigrant Center Alliance welcomes those fleeing injustice, persecution, and poverty in other countries. With volunteers and community partners, ERICA helps refugees, asylum seekers and other newcomers in Greater Baltimore rebuild their lives through one-on-one problem solving and emergency assistance.”
Next steps will be having the Outreach Committee work with ERICA to see how our parish can engage in this ministry. Are their supplies that we can provide? Will we be involved in supporting an immigrant family? Please stay tuned on how you can participate in this vital ministry. A

November Casserole Drive
If you like to cook and are looking for a way to help your neighbors in need, making casseroles for Our Daily Bread is perfect for you! Our Daily Bread, Maryland’s largest hot meal program, serves 600+ lunches each day, and depends on volunteers like us to make it happen. This is an easy way to get involved in helping the displaced and hungry in Baltimore. From November 2 through November 30, simply pick up a FREE casserole pan (recipe included) at the back of the church on Sundays, make the casserole, and return the dish on Sunday morning where it can be stored in the church freezer before being delivered to Our Daily Bread. Catherine Brill will be there on Sunday mornings to help you find the freezer for your delivery. Thank you so much for helping with this vital service to the displaced and hungry in Baltimore. If you have any questions, please contact Catherine Brill at cubrill@comcast.net.
