Ministries

We see ourselves as a Christian community where we support and care for people so that they can be strengthened to do God’s work all week long. Yet, we also enjoy doing service together with our friends from Church. So we have a variety of ways that people can be involved in various ministries.

Worship Ministries

Members of our church enjoy taking leadership roles in our worship by serving as Readers, Hosts, Chalicists, Sacristans, Acolytes, and Vergers. If you are interested in one of these roles, please contact the Rev. Mary Luck Stanley at mary@stpaulsbaltimore.org.

Hospitality Volunteers

We invite volunteers to bring treats to share at our coffee hour on Sundays, which follows the 10:00 a.m. worship service. If you would like to sign up, or would be willing to serve on a hospitality team one Sunday a month, please contact The Rev. Mary Luck Stanley at mary@stpaulsbaltimore.org.

Community Builders

Volunteers regularly organize groups to go out to lunch and for coffee after church. And throughout the year, members host other special events, dinners, and receptions.

Our Daily Bread

Once a month a group of parishioners serves hot meals to hundreds of hungry people at this social service organization.

Casserole Ministry

Members of our church cook casseroles that are stored in our freezer and are then delivered to Our Daily Bread so that they can be served at one of their daily meals for the hungry.

Angel Tree Ministry

During Advent, volunteers collect diapering supplies to give to a charitable organization that supports parents who need need these supplies for their babies.

Social Justice & Service Committee

This group organizes events and ministries for the congregation as well as deciding how to donate the outreach budget.

Sunday School and Youth Group Leaders

We are blessed to have the most excellent volunteers working to raise our children in the Christian faith.

Vestry

Vestry members are elected from our congregation to meet monthly and to oversee the finances, budget, buildings and grounds. The vestry also works with the clergy and staff to nurture the spiritual life of our community.
